When Visiting Our Office

Your safety is our first priority and we have implemented the following COVID-19 protocols to do just that. The changes that you can expect when visiting our office include:

1. The evening prior to your appointment, as was done in the past, we will call to confirm that you are attending the appointment and the time again with you. During this call you will be asked a series of screening questions.

2. At the time that you arrive at our office, you are kindly asked to remain in your vehicle, if driving, or in the foyer to the office and call in to let us know that you have arrived for your appointment. At that time, you will be once again asked the screening questions.

3. When it is time for you to come into the office, you will be called by our Office Manager, Sue Laurin. In order to reduce the number of people in the office and practice safe distancing with others, we ask that the patient come into the office alone.

4. Patients must come in with a mask of their own or other appropriate face covering.

5. As we have in the past provided eye protection for our patients, we are recommending that, if not wearing prescription glasses, you bring your own sunglasses to wear during the appointment.

6. Once in the office reception area, you will be asked to sanitize your hands and you will have your temperature taken with our touchless thermometer.

7. You or your child will wear the mask to the chair and remove it to have their treatment carried out. Once you or your child are ready to leave, you will be asked to put the mask back on as you exit the office. Prior to exiting you will be required, once again, to sanitize your hands.

8. Owing to strict regulations regarding the creation of a fine mist, known as an aerosol, if there is something off or loose, please let us know when you are booking the appointment so that we can book our schedule accordingly.

9. As a result of these strict regulations, we may no longer have the ability to rebond or recement any loose appliances that we were not aware of at the time of booking the appointment. The patient would have to be rebooked to have the appliances recemented or rebonded.
